About the Course

Sound Bath — Group & Party Bookings

An unforgettable shared hour of calm — at our centre or at yours

Sound baths are beautiful one-to-one. They're something else entirely when you share them with people you love. The sound fills a whole room, the bodies around you settle together, and an hour of sound becomes one of those rare experiences that everyone remembers for a long time afterwards.

RP Therapies offers private group sound baths for friends, families, book clubs, birthdays, hen parties, anniversaries, wellbeing days, and quiet celebrations of every kind — either hosted at our purpose-built therapy centre or brought to your home, garden, hall, or venue.

What a group sound bath looks like

Guests arrive, settle onto mats, pillows, or blankets, and are made comfortable. There's a gentle welcome and a few words to set expectations, then the lights dim, eye pillows go on, and the sound begins.

Over the course of an hour you'll move through crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, and gentle gong work. The sound is rich and warm rather than loud — no one is ever startled. At the end there is a slow return, a cup of herbal tea, and a little quiet time for guests to ease back into the world.

Perfect for

  • Birthdays and milestones — a genuinely different kind of gift, shared with close friends

  • Hen parties and quiet girls' nights in — a grown-up, calming alternative to the usual

  • Anniversaries and wedding-eve evenings — a grounding hour before a big day

  • Book clubs, wellbeing groups, and "girls' circles"

  • Baby showers (with appropriate adjustments — please mention when booking)

  • Grief circles and support groups — a safe, wordless place to rest together

  • Workplace wellbeing days (see also our Corporate Wellbeing page)

  • Festival stages, spa days, yoga studios — we're happy to slot in as a guest session

Formats & locations

We provide blankets, eye pillows, floor mats and a calm welcome. Ideal for close friends and small celebrations. Just bring your favorite pillow!

At your home, garden, or venue

For larger groups, or for a more personal setting, we travel to you. Living rooms, garden marquees, village halls, studios, retreat spaces — if it's quiet and indoor (or enclosed outdoor), it works. We bring all instruments, eye pillows, and lighting.

At your workplace

For teams and offices we run lunch-hour, end-of-day, or away-day sound baths as a proper wellbeing offering — see the Corporate Wellbeing page for dedicated details.

Pair it with Elle Reflexology

For wellbeing days and parties, we often team up with Elle Reflexology — Elle Parton CRM5 (Dip) MAR — to offer short reflexology "taster" sessions alongside the sound bath. One treatment winds the nervous system down through sound, the other does it through the feet. Ask about our joint-therapist package.

What guests should bring / wear

Comfortable clothes — leggings or loose trousers, a warm layer, socks. Guests lie fully clothed for the duration. A blanket of their own is welcome but not essential. No food or alcohol for the two hours before the session, ideally.

Safety notes

Sound bath is not suitable for anyone with certain conditions — notably pregnancy (first trimester), pacemaker, recent surgery, severe tinnitus, or epilepsy. When you enquire we'll send a short safety sheet to share with your guests so everyone knows what to expect before the day.

About your therapist

Group sound baths are facilitated by Richy ("Dickie") Parton, holistic therapist and Usui Reiki Master. Dickie hosts with an easy, warm presence — your guests will feel looked after from the moment they arrive.
